i have TF2 and when i go ingame and spawn tf2 object its an error why? don't have tf2 installed

You can't use content from a game that's not installed. This is because garrysmod calls for the files FROM the game. It uses the games .gcf instead of having to double the size taken up copying all the models etc. to the garrysmod folder, therefore if you don't have the game files you don't have the .gcf which means garrysmod can't call the file to spawn because it doesn't exist because there's not .gcf.
