I have a hosted ftp server that I can use for downloading files and I want to use it for "sv_downloardurl." However, I need to login to download files on the server. How would I set the sv_downloadurl up?

You only need to login to download files from FTP. You can use HTTP to download the files without logging in or even using the FTP client.
