All I want to do is be able to play Sandbox with my friend, why is something that should be so simple so difficult?
If I set up a multiplayer match, when my friend tries to join he gets "Server is not responding" and he tried connected via server list AND console and neither worked. I've been looking around and found just about every solution involves some complicated process and port forwarding (which I can't seem to do because the page I need to go to to do that refuses to load).
All I ask for a simple way to host a game my friend can join without going through some huge complicated process. Does such a thing exist?
No, learn to port forward.
If you can't do it, no hosting for you, deal with it.
Get Hamachi. I have the same Issue, it's a workaround.
