Gmod Server High CPU Usage

I've been having problems with my gmod server lately, the server was using up too much cpu resources, and it would occasionally have cpu spikes, meaning the % of cpu it would use would skyrocket for several moments, which would create a noticeable lag in the server and a drop in the FPS.

1. How would I check what exactly in the server is using up so much CPU resources.

2. What methods may I use to reduce the CPU usage

3. What may the causes be for the spike in the CPU usage

The server is a simple murder gamemode with some addon maps and ULX installed. The player cap is at 16.

If you're comfrotable with lua then you could check out oubliette's DBugR: [url]https://github.com/oubliette32/DBugR[/url]

Ulib will generally hit your server fairly hard performance wise, so you should probably look at a different admin mod.

Oh that's an admin mod? When I saw the advertisement I thought it looked like they were admins for hire.
