For some strange reason, Gmod automatically sets its own volume to something around 2, when it should be somewhere around 8-12. Not only does it do this on startup, but it does it every single time I join a server. I have to go into my volume menu on the taskbar and manually set the volume back to a decent level every time I join a server. What the fuck is going on?
P.S.: This also happens on Age of Chivalry, for some reason.

Ok go to Control Panel, Hardware and Sounds, and Manage audio devices. After that hit the last tab "Communitcations". Then check do nothing. Should work. If not post here.
