[img]http://img33.imageshack.us/img33/6900/regmod.png[/img] [b]Gameplay[/b] This is a zombie survival gamemode. The whole gameplay is based on three stages. [u]-Prep Mode[/u] [img]http://img41.imageshack.us/img41/6463/hud.png[/img] In this mode players are allowed to buy items, and upgrade their weapons. Players can also explore the map free from fear of zombies, or they can place barricades and or explosive barrels and prepare for battle. [u]-Battle Mode[/u] [img]http://img188.imageshack.us/img188/6397/hud2.png[/img] This is where all the action happens. Two types of zombies are spawned: Crimzon Head Zombies (sprinting zombies that add some danger to the game) , and your average, everyday zombie(Slow and stupid). Zombies have a difficulty curve. Every minute the survivor are alive, the zombies gain more health, and the item drops become less and less common. Upgrading your weapons will definitively benefit you out in the battle. [u]-End Mode[/u] Well, nothing much happens here. You can upgrade weapons and purchase items. I plan to allow voting for the next map, and to start on a higher difficulty if the voters so choose to. [b]The Upgrades[/b] here you can upgrade your weapons, for a fee of course. The four categories you can upgrade between are: -Fire Power(How much damage is done) -Accuracy(I really don't know what else to say) -Clip Size(The max amount of bullets in your gun) -Firing Speed(How fast your gun fires) [img]http://img118.imageshack.us/img118/3083/36637151.jpg[/img] [b]The Paycheck[/b] You earn your money by a combination of killing zombies and surviving a long time. For every zombie you kill you earn $1 and a kill is posted onto your kill count, then at the end of the round or when you die, your money and kills are taken into account to generate the cash bonus you get for playing through the whole round. You don't get this bonus if you disconnect from the server. A little motivational ploy for you. [b]The Hud[/b] [img]http://img188.imageshack.us/img188/6397/hud2.png[/img] The hud will inform you on things that you will need through out the game. Such as the gamemode, your current clip, the amount of ammo you have, how much time you survived, your kills and Most Importantly your health. Your Health Bar will go through five stages. This is very nice! Are the zombies PLAYERS or NPC's? Also, how long did it take you to make this?
quite a while, zombies are npcs. I stopped working on it so I decided to release it.

Thanks, there still are bugs within it however, it isn't perfect. Zombies have trouble detecting enemies in fog.
Does seem buggy, i would consider using it on one of my servers if you didnt say "dont go near the zombies as spectator" lol :).

There was a huge mis-understanding, the re-uploaded gamemode wasn't uploaded by me. The mis-understanding was that I originally posted this thread because I quit working on it, but now, I may be continuing developement on Pulsar Effect server. What you need to take from this post is that this is not a bug-free professional gamemode, this is a basically an unfinished WIP that I decided to release. Jabba69r I don't know what the problem is, and I can't figure it out considering the download you got, wasn't by me.
lol good god, you never even put an NPC cap on this game, later in the game it bogs down the server so much, also zombies cant attack upwards, so stand on one's head, and you win the game indefinetly. Combine the 2 and eventually the sheer amount of NPC lag crashes the server
Don't increase the health too much for a difficulty curve - make more zombies. Nobody enjoys sinking 100 rounds to kill one zombie over killing 100 zombies with 100 rounds.

Can this be played in singleplayer?

how the fuck do you get it to work i can't get the gamemode to even show up
^ He hasnt given out anything of the gamemode. You have to play on his server, which is currently down, last I heard [editline]09:57AM[/editline] although, he is planning to release the gamemode, because he isnt planning to do anymore work on it

When I finish the gamemode and pulsar effect doesn't want it anymore, it will be released. I'll Get the New IP up here soon.
Id download it if it had the resident evil 1 camera system. Without it , it feels like a generic zombie gamemode.

I tried to play Singleplayer but the items are outlined in red and I can't pick them up at any time..
You need to buy VIP from Pulsar Effect in order to access it. Its in beta stages.
Alright if you want Thirdperson (like in Resident Evil) for your server head here [url]http://www.garrysmod.org/downloads/?a=view&id=5494[/url] and copy the thirdperson.lua file to garrysmod/lua/autorun/ Once in game be sure to inform your clients to bind a key to "chasecam" in the console to toggle third person. Awesome gamemode by the way. Might put it on my server (when it comes out).

Any reason why it works 100% fine for me but the camera is a weird 3rd person mode rather than First person like in the videos :S?
