Hey guys, so I just bought a server!
I was just wondering, what would a more popular gamemode (NOT DARK ROLEPLAY) be?

Up to you, try mixing around with different gamemodes and see which one you like best.
Why not going with something you like?
Murder seem to be pretty popular and theres not a HUGE amount of servers with them like darkrp and TTT. Maybe thats something for you?
Host a vanilla F2S server
You'll probably need a coder to make custom content in order to get anywhere, so keep that in mind. Murder would be the easiest thing to go with.
Something you're interested in and will be happy to maintain
Just because you're hosting a popular gamemode doesn't mean you'll instantly get a popular server, so it's good do something you're actually interesting in and are able to contribute to.
Most popular gamemodes already have lots of servers for them, because server owners think they can ride off gamemode popularity alone and not have to put much effort in, which eventually leads to over-saturated gammeodes with a 1000+ servers and lots of empty ones.

I have a DarkRP server I really like and we never get players :( and it's not one of those ridiculous HITMAN SNIPER DONATOR servers, it's really depressing. First hand example that having a popular gamemode won't get you players.
