Hey everybody, i need help here with hosting a DarkRP Server from a Home computer, i got a lot of problems with it, i want to make 2 custom jobs for Police, i already made secret police and SWAT Officer, now i want them to be able to use CP Commands like /wanted or /warrant.
I also got a problem with Mad Cows Weapons that i want to make DarkRP to be able to buy ammo for the guns, i already found 4 topics about this, but all were useless, and another problem with my server is when i drop a weapon it gets stuck in mid-air, if i buy a pistol from F4 menu its stuck in mid air and u can't pick it up, and if i spawn Mad Cows weapon its stuck in air but i still can pick it up.
If someone can help me with those, that will be PERFECT.
Just ask and i'll upload my lua files to rapidshare.
And also few questions: what's the latest ASSMod version?! i found 2.20 and 3.10, i see 3.10 as FAKE and ... !
and also last problem is that the ASSMod never remembers me as Owner, every time i start the server i must minimize and do ASS_GiveOwnership #.

btw forgot to mention - also cant pickup money, i got tf2, hl2, css at the server, but it still acts up.
For mad cows, you have to go into the lua file of each weapon and change the primary ammo to either pistol, SMG1, or (I forgot the shotgun). I would not recommend ASSMOD. Get ULX instead.
Thanks, you just solved 60% of my problems. now what about the un-pickable money, Bugged weapons (unpickable from F4, And Floating if spawned via Q Menu) and how i make custom Police jobs that will be able to use police commands?

Your guns and money are glitched because you have not installed CSS properly, since the money in darkrp uses a css model.
If you have a dedicated server you can copy the models/materials folders from your css folder into the garrysmod folder ,'D

Thanks for the advice, i just updated the server, it should work now.
EDIT: Server never remembers me as an admin, not ULX nor DarkRP.
Each time i join i must readd myself as a super admin...
Make sure, if running Wondows Vista or above, that you are running SRCDS as an administrator. Also, make sur the folder isn't Read Only.
Try to add yourself to the users.txt file in the "settings" folder.
There is a quick tutorial there for you.
