Ya know, stuff from game modes like RP and stuff. I downloaded stuff for an RP and it had some cool cars and admin guns and stuff, but can't access it from regular sandbox. How would I without having to play on the RP server?
When you are creating a game, find the gamemode option. It'll be set to sandbox. If you have your junk in the right places, whatever it is will show up in that list. You might want to have the same map, too, or one like it.

Say I download a necessary car for a RP server and it appears in the vehicles tab on the spawn menu on that server. When I go to single player and look at the menu it isn't there for the sandbox game. I look at my game modes and only have Fretta, Sandbox, and a gametype I downloaded From Gmod.org.
You cant.
If it's Lua it will be in "cache/dua"
It's not named, it's all numbers so you will have to sift through it all till you find what your looking for, models/textures on the other hand will go into your models/textures directory..
It's not advisable to sift through the dua files though, as people worked hard on writing this stuff to make there server unique, stealing it from dua caches is just cheap.
You only download clientside stuff, so don't expect to find full gamemodes in your cache files.
A gamemode often has a content folder with all the materials, models, resource and sound. Either copy the content of the content folder to your root gmod folder or place the content folder in addons.
Check in the browse tab of the q menu
