I've only recently bought Garry's Mod on steam and just now it has decided to start acting weirdly. Every time I spawn an object it appears a very dark blue brick material. Other players see the objects in the same way and they can spawn normal objects. I have reinstalled Garry's Mod and instead of items spawning with the orange watery material (they were like this originally, different material but same problem.) they now spawn with the dark blue brick.

Could anyone tell me what's happening?
Try to verify game cache by finding GMod in the Steam Library, right clicking, properties, local files and pressing "Verify Integrity of Game Cache"
Yes I've already tried that and it hasn't fixed anything :S
I don't suppose there's any tool/setting which sets anything you spawn to have a particular set of properties?
