Ok. Every time I try to join my own server when I check the info of it it shows my Internal IP. Noone else can join either. But when I check the info of everyone elses server it shows there external IP. How do I make my server playable with everyone not just people in my house/ using the same router as me
Stop making threads about this; if you have the port your binded your server to open, people should be able to join. If they can't, then it's an issue with your firewall.
Make sure it's not LAN-only, sv_lan should be 0. To make your server visible on the list forcefully, use "heartbeat" once in the console. As code_gs said, if you do have your ports open(27015) and bound to your local ip, it should work and it should show on the list. You have probably bound the port to the wrong local IP address. it should be e.g: 192.168.1.100 or 192.168.1.101 not 192.168.1.1, depending which local IP your PC gets hold of, it should be your IPv4 address for your lan connection. However this depends on what router you're using.
