If someone could make a real propeller that moves and lifts things then they would be a legend!!! :)
I think you get a propeller with Spacebuild wich you can download here:

NOTE: You need a SVN client.

Yeah but then he would have to add unneccesary junk just for the propeller.
I would suggest the Fin 2 Stool. There should be plenty of tutorials out there explaining it. You can get it at this link. Its crud, but effective.

phx propeller + thruster
or
fin tool + homemade propeller
If you mean one that acts like a fan (can apply force to props), this might be helpful:

Try the repulsor tool, I think its what you're looking for.
EDIT: Well, it doesn't spin. :frown:
Unlike most people I search google and garrysmod.org to find something.
And it is what you are looking for.
Use the propellor tool. It comes with the models for them as well.
The faster the prop rotates the more force it aplies but moving fowards dones rotate it, and its no fancy fin shit that can spaz.

A simple propeller can be made with the Fin 2 tool. Just add 2 really thin props (like "thin plates" from the PHX# svn) to a small center prop, then change the angle to what you want. 23 degrees works pretty well (45 degrees if your looking for the maximum strength). Then add a wheel or wire wheel under the axis, and then weld everything to the wheel. It works pretty well for me.
