So my issue is pretty cut and dry I'd say, when I start up my Linux server I can spawn entities from other areas I've downloaded and what not, but I can't spawn the SBEP weapons, vehicles, etc.
I've got the files uploaded to the right areas on the server because I can spawn the SBEP Manual, but nothing else. in the SBEP areas. While hosting a listening server I can spawn the entities just fine, which leads me to believe it might be an administration problem; however, I've been unable to find out exactly what I need to do in order to get these entities to spawn.
I've gotten all my files through the SVN links via Tortoise and I've also tried using the Gmod SVN Updater. Both end up with the same results of being able to spawn the entites on a listening server, but not on a dedicated server.
My DS is running Ubuntu Server 10.04 and I've tried multiple Admin mods such as NewAdmin and ULX, I'm currently running ULX.
I'm running all the Spacebuild addon packs, life support, black hole cache, etc.
Which entities are you referring to?
Check for upper case letters?

The entities inside the SBEP - Weapons/Other/Rover Gear/etc.
All of them in those sections, minus the SBEP Manual entity that's in the Other section, I can spawn that one.

Excuse the newbism, but where am I checking for those at? And if the casing is a problem, why would it work on a listening server but not a dedicated? Everything on the dedicated server is named exactly the same as it is on my end.
I'd asume the Listen server is on your windows box?
Gmod by default will spawn models/ents with all characters in lowercase. In a windows server this does not affect anything but in a linux server if a directory is named /VGUI/ it is not the same as /Vgui/.
When spawning an ent, look in the console, more than likely you'd see "blah/one/two/three"
Go to the SBEP, check the folders. if the folders have "Blah/one/Two/three" or anything different to the console output then that'd be the probable cause to your problem.
Bare with this suggestion as I'm only running one linux server ourselves out of all our dedis. I'm learning as I go along.

I see what you're saying, I'll give that a check and see what happens.

Unfortunately it's not a case-sensitive issue, still stumped.
Well, I ran the server using Windows Server 2008 and the issue doesn't seem to be there, I guess there's an issue with linux based machines, or maybe I'm just missing something obvious. Either way, the server spawns entities from SBEP without issue so we'll see what happens, I'll continue my research.
