Ok so first off, Im just playing in a server, and randomly the game freezes, and i hear a ding. i cant really type what it says, just a bunch of numbers, and failed to load memory? I have 1gb Ram, 2.8 ghz processer, and a radeon x300. its a shitty setup but it works decent. I don't see the problem here. My other issue is when I try to reinstall GMOD, it starts installing at 90% for some odd reason and it 'finishes' in less that a minute. Therefore, i can't see some textures, and some animations are off, like the animations for holding weapons.
I'm very confused because i deleted every single file in my gmod folder excluding my addons which are stored somewhere else.
I could use some help here.

It's only when i open up the consle or the ESC menu at all. It will take a few secs then crash. then i end up having to shut down my pc because i cant get to the desktop or view Task Manager. I had -dxlevel 80 on startup commands, im going to try playing without it. it may have messed with my gfx card or something.
EDIT: Didn't fix it. Still crashes on ESC menu or when i try to disconnect. Maybe because of having to load so much content, im not sure. my biggest addons are phx and wire svn, but they are only like 100mb+. I'm not sure why it's happening.
