When i try to install addons such as ragdolls (as I did on another computer successfully) they don't seem to show up anywhere that i look. I'm doing it exactly the same way that I did before and I've tried different methods such as winrar and installing them manually by merging the models/materials/settings/etc. with the ones in the garrysmod folder, and none of it seems to help. Does anyone know what i can do? Is there something that I am missing? All help appreciated.
If the folder contains an info.txt file, put it in garrysmod/garrysmod/addons
If it doesn't merge the models, materials etc. folders with their counterparts in garrysmod/garrysmod.
ive already tried that. Both ways wont work.

No. That didn't help at all.
Check and see if the addons show up in the addons folder in the pause menu. If so, depending on the addons, you might need to make some spawn lists.
