Cannot connect to my server from internet tab or favorites

The only way I can connect to my server is from the LAN tab. My friends can only join through the friends tab or through Steam.

I can find the server in the internet and favorites tab, but trying to connect says "Server is not responding".

I would say that it's normal if you cannot connect to your server from the internet tab, as it use the internet IP to connect and some routers block outgoing connections that goes back in. You may try to start your server with -steamport [i]your server port +1[/i] parameter and forward that port too.
