I am having trouble getting my custom loading page to appear...
I have setup a page that I am going to use for my custom loading screen for my server, seen below:
[url]http://meikledesign.co.uk/server/[/url]
I added the command [b]sv_loadingurl [url]http://meikledesign.co.uk/server/[/url][/b] to my server.cfg file. It didn't work, I still get the default loading screen.
I tried adding the qoute's i.e [b]sv_loadingurl "http://meikledesign.co.uk/server/"[/b] to the server.cfg file. Nope, still get the default screen.
I even tried sending the command via RCON from console, still won't work.
I of course, allways restart my server once I've made changes to the config file.
Any ideas why it won't work, or am I doing somthing wrong?
You can try connecting to my server to see if it shows for you, it may be my computer not showing the loading screen. My game server's IP is:
85.234.148.15:27075
What about when the map is changed?
Try making a cfg/autoexec.cfg and putting the sv_loadingurl "url here" in there. You do need the quotes.
Ok, after changing the map it appears. Typical it was somthing so simple.

Well yes Each time the server restarts/Changes map is loads the Server.cfg.
It does not read from it All the time.
