Well, apparently the last update SERIOUSLY messed up the game. Yesterday, before the update, it was working fine. But today... I mean, over 5 minutes to load a map is not okay at all. I already defragged the game, which didn't really help much, even reinstalled it, because I though something was borked in the game files.
So - anyone has a possible solution to this?
This probably won't help if your GMod loaded fine before the update, but maybe cutting down your addons folder will increase loading speed?
I already deleted the useless stuff and now I'm left with things I actually use, so I can't just delete it like this. Something Really wrong with performance too after that patch - it takes ages for my folders ingame to load. Which is odd, because they loaded instantly before.
