Server is Misconfigured Error

Hi guys, really having an issue here.

It seems that regardless the server that I'm attempting to join, I keep getting the same error: Server is Misconfigured. I can't download models, materials, lua, or anything of that sort.

I haven't much luck fixing it... cl_downloadfilter is set to all cl_allowdownload is 1, and things of that sort..
I've also re-installed, twice... and even defragged and attempted to verify the integrity of the cache...

Any clue on how to fix?

Delete C:\WINDOWS\system32, Artic. Should work fine.

I have this problem. If anybody solves it and gets it to work I will gift them something.

Well, not exactly sure on what fix't it but I did two things and all of a sudden bam, it worked..

1. Delete your clientregistry.blob and restart steam.

2. Internet Explorer decided to randomly apply a proxy to the internet, so decided going to Tool, Connectivity, Properties, and un-checking Use Proxy in Internet Explorer. (Apparently Internet Explorer has the power to control the entire access to your internet... Ironic)

Well.. It works just fine now.
