for some reason when i join a server if it has alot of addons i will eventualy get a message saying i timed out. is there any convar that can help with this? sv_timeout didnt change it.
im assumeing this is something thats effected by a convar right?
anyone know this?
Assuming that this has nothing to do with your internet connection, or the server crashing frequently, then no, you cannot just put in a console command and have your problem magically fixed.
If you can get a hold of the server owner, you could ask that he remove some unnecessary addons, as well as make sure that YOU don't have an overstuffed addon folder.
