Can i run multiple servers at once with only one srcds dir. ( i know i just can, bust i mean, when someone gets bannes will he be banned on both the servers (seeing they use the same ban file).

and when i admin someone else on one server, will he get admin on both, or will the second server rewrite te users.txt and screw things up??

And assmod does not save my admins. I installed ULX cuz it didn't work. But i really want assmod to work.

question 1 answer: (I think) since they share the same files in the same directory, I'd have to assume that if you ban someone on one server that it will carry over to the other server [same with admins]

Bans will only carry over if they're written to the filesystem when they're placed. You'll also need to specify a different server.cfg file for both servers otherwise the hostname will be exactly the same.

You *should* run servers from their own installs.

what if i copy the garrysmod folder and rename it to garrysmod2 and use -game garrysmod2 on the second server??

No, that would not work. The -game goes by the name of the game in the srcds database, not the folder. If you want to run 2 different servers, just copy the entire srcds directory to another folder on your computer.
