I get to the part where you have to plug it in but it doesnt go in.I have numerous problems where you cant get through due to not being able to push a button.
you can't play the hl2 campaign on gmod.
It relies on too many things that aren't in gmod.
Certain events aren't actually programmed to work with GMod. It's not broken, it's just not a feature. Some maps (like the first one and most of the coast maps) will work fine, but some of the scripted events just plain aren't included.
It's very easy to load a HL2 map in Gmod, but playing the campaign is near impossible.

some maps you can play fine.
I know for a fact that you can't go through the whole game. Like when you're in the citadel, you can't get the organic gravity gun.
You also can't automatically load areas, you'd have to load them manually from the SP menu.
