I just made a new gamemode and i go to paste it into my gamemodes folder and i run the game and try to create a server and it doesnt show up in a list. another thing is when i open up the gamemodes folder none of the default gamemodes are in there only a folder called GMStranded which doesnt show up in list either. I need to know how to fix this.
EDIT: I reinstalled GMod and now there is only a text file called gamemodes.
