Peformance-wise, how does Windows and Linux hosting compare, provided they had the exact same specs, and same virtualisation (Xen)?
Windows most likely, at least with build servers right now.
Stability? Linux. Performance? Windows (for Garry's Mod. Linux beats the hell out of windows on this in everything else).
At least there's an actual Linux build nowadays that does usually sort of work.
