I recently got garry's mod off steam just by itself I had team fortress 2 half life 2 episode 2 and the origonal half life 2 but for some reason even after re-installing garry's mod npc's some props weapons were black and white and some textures in ep2 on garry's mod purple checkerboard but. The games run perfect by themselves no texture failure even at highest detail so I don't know what i'm doing wrong someone please help.
Could you fix the link to your Steam Profile?
Also: make sure that you've started up (and maybe played) each game at least once.
