Okay, so I downloaded all of the source mods, free ones anyway, to make spawning the content easier, now I can't spawn jack shit from either Left 4 dead, Age of Chivalry, almost anything. It doesn't spawn at all, not even as invisible.
Base Half-life 2 content spawns ok I think.
Ok I had this exact same problem for both Portal and L4D 1 (don't own L4D2, so I don't know if this applies). Try running any of the games you're having issues with. For example, I couldn't check the boxes for Portal or L4D under extensions on the main menu. I tried running both of them. Portal had to verify the game cache, and L4D...just fired up normally. After doing this, I could check (mount) both of them in gmod. I had played both of them before, so I don't know what the issue was, it just worked after doing this and I could spawn props from both of them. I'm not saying this is your issue, I'm just tossing out my similar experiences.
Well, that mostly fixed it, but content from Dystopia still isn't spawning at all, and the ragdolls for PVK2 are largely invisible. All I see is their eyes, teeth, and very little of their clothing.
Are you looking under the browse menu for the Dystopia content or going off of a spawnlist? If you're using a spawnlist, I'd suggest trying to find it under the browse menu, as the path might be different. And I'm sorry, I don't know what to suggest about the PVK 2 models other than using the old sloppy method of getting them in...copying the models/materials folder from PVK 2 in to your gmod folder if you've got the space (and the patience for another few seconds of load time).
