How to turn map into "mission"? Ill explain more -.-

Well what im trying to do is play a gmod mission on gmod. The missions like blah blah blah break out of jail find guns kill this guy mmhmm. But having the weapons you spawn with like the phygun, gravgun pistol rpg shotgun kind of ruins it. Ive seen videos of other people playing it that have a health bar, no guns but gravgun, and different redicule. If theyre just extracting map into half life... I dont have half life, only ep 1 and 2 and I dont know how either so yeah, what can I do here?

Well, what you're seeing is a Gamemode, you'd have to either get one or make one

Mission saves are stupid, anyway.
Are we talking about an actual map, or a save for a map?

There are ways to weaponstrip players on startup, I think CSS even has a brush entity for it.
You should ask this in the Mapping Question megathread.

Standard hammer has a weaponstrip brush, it was used in the citadel.
