I am just wondering what the ETA for fixing the broken Gmod update would be. As i found out that the new update broke the All DOD swep pack and various other add-ons I have, as well as it's becoming a pain to have to type r_worldlights 0 in the console every time I play. If i could just get idea on when it will be fix that would be great.

In that case is there a way I can down grade?
Afraid not. You'll have to wait for garrysmod and the packs to be updated (simple fix when garrysmod is updated) and as for the phong issue (why you have to do r_worldlights), you will have to wait for valve as it is a engine issue.
You can add +r_worldlights 1 to the launch options rather than entering it every time.
