I just got Portal 2, and Garrys Mod has changed a bit... - Garry's Mod

If that happened I'd quit GMod. It's just odd, I'm not really complaining or anything.

It's to do with the recent engine update/content mounting changes. When valve fix the phong issues hopefully this will be resolved.

But I like the new blood.

light issue is because of the engine updates. the blood I have no idea.

The blood looks a cartoony like tf 2 blood,but in my opinion this blood kinda looks better.

Nothing to do with portal 2 :V in garry's last update he messed around with the hdr and use the tf2 blood effects and some sounds aswell as zombie sounds to hl:s

That is nothing like TF2 blood in my opinion, that is NOTHING like TF2 blood.

I'm guessing the Left 4 Dead stuff is overwriting the default HL2 stuff?

It's more like Antlion blood but a different colour, because this new blood is kinda chunky. But yeah it's definatly Orange Box.

I'm glad I'm not the only one having this problem. I thought it happened to me because I uninstalled Half-Life 2 off my computer before I started playing Garry's Mod again, but it's not.
