Edit: sorry, i made a typo in the title, should be: "Achievements not awarding" Hello there! I have got this problem since gmod achievements were introduced but it never came to my mind to actually ask help for it. Now I must say that I am getting annoyed of it so I decided to open a thread on here. My problem is as following: Any Achievement, that involves the spawn menu in the slightest way, is not counting towards any progress. This involves the following achievements: -War Zone (kill 1000 bad npcs) -Innocent Bystander (kill 1000 animals) -Ball Eater (eat 200 balls) -Creator (spawn 5000 props) -Popper (burst 1000 balloons) -Destroyer (Remove 5000 things) -Menu User (open spawnmenu 1000 times) -Procreator (Spawn 1000 npcs) -Dollhouse (spawn 2000 ragdolls) -Bad Friend (kill 1000 friendly npcs) No matter how many times I open the spawn menu, kill any npc's or spawn ragdolls or anything else, the counters which are supposed to show me my progress stay at 0. I must have killed about a million seagulls and combine soldiers now and it still did not award me the achievement(s). I really would appreciate it, if anybody could help me out on that problem so I can finally get those achievements. Screenshots from the in-game view of the achievements: http://steamcommunity.com/id/0cube/screenshot/558654597277245269 http://steamcommunity.com/id/0cube/screenshot/558654597277246932 Screenshot of the error I get when opening the spawnmenu (Don't know if this has anything to do with it or how to fix it): http://steamcommunity.com/id/0cube/screenshot/558654597277244083 (Note: I opened the spawn menu a couple of times, thats why the error is written down multiple times) -------------------- Problem is now solved, the screenshot links are now invalid.
bump... anyone?
Weird. Try deleting your garrysmod folder and letting it recreate it, backing up addons and anything else (e.g. Maps) you have installed first.
Wow, I wouldn't have thought that would work, but it did. Thank you very much.
