So, for about 2 days now, Gmod crashes whenever I join the server I often build on. The error I get is the classic Hl2.exe has stopped responding error. It started yesterday after Gmod started doing some funky shit, this includes :
Invisible props
Every part of the map with displacements is invisible
No tools work
My specs are :
Processor - Intel Core2 Quad CPU Q6600 @2.40GHz
RAM - 4GB
Graphics card - Crossfire AMD HD5770
OS - Windows 7 32bit
So far I have tried :
Reinstalling
Cleaning unused addons
Validating files
Cleaning materials and models
Loading the map in singleplayer and then joining the server.
None of these made any difference, help would be greatly appreciated.
