Our server at vanilla toast is one of the newer, fresher rp servers. It's just begun at the moment, and we already have about 4 admins and 2 superadmins. We also have a small but growing community of RPers. This server is welcome to everyone and even those who like more serious RP will enjoy it.
I used to play on other people's servers all the time. I kept having the same problems.
The servers had crap admins who just abused and covered it up
If there were respected/paid members they would RDM flame, and even minge and usually get away with it
And/or the server shutdown within a month.
This server is completely different! It's actually made by someone who knows what it feels like to be a server from a wide range of experience. Our admins are top notch, and if they aren't they will be removed completely. We have many great jobs and even a few customs to our server. We have new updates and fixes being added to the server every week to make your experience more enjoyable, and best of all. It's made by the people. If you would like to make a suggestion to improve the server in anyway, just alert one of the admins and we will consider the idea and do a couple of rounds of !votes to verify it's a good idea.

Why does nobody use LightRP anymore :(
Were actually using FusionRP if that makes you Guys feel better. Also sence the server has only just begun we will actually probably switch to a better gamemode. And if you're worried about RDM our server autokicks anyone who constantly RDMs.

DarkRP is really just a more updated gamemode and it was built off of lightRP I believe?
Your admin approach seems to be good but nobody will take you serious with DarkRP. Try Tiramisu or another free gamemode.
What features would you say make this server special? Are good admins your main "selling" point?

Im actually working on that at the moment.
Assuming you can keep a good set of admins, and manage you players well, stick to DarkRP, make changes to make it sensible, show people it can work. I'd love to see that in action. Going by your advert you seem like a fairly laid back bunch, that could be what the server needs to make if interesting.

I actually prefer darkRP over most gametypes, even though its cliche is that is just DM. I kinda like this guys idea. Its not like its impossible to have good RP in darkRP. And also, a lot of people are more familiar with darkRP.

I spawn, first thing I see is rollermines and the admins toying with them :v
Second, it seems the server is a listen server, hosted by a guy called Ryder.
Thirdly, someone shot a CP and the server crashed.
It seems the CP was a pigeon - Pill.

You remember when we were talking about how the server was temporarily a listen until we got our actual host back, (2 days) and how after the server crashed, you said "tip the server crashes when you're a pigeon" and then i let you kill me and nothing happend? Dont acknowledge this post guys he made it premature. He actually ended up suggesting a lot of good ideas for the server though. It seems he misconcieved what was going on. I'm not really sure what was going on with "rollarmines" though o.0
Probably they just got bored and did it to occupy their time until something happened. Not a big deal really.
