so whenever i join a multiplayer server, or make one of my own i cannot use tools. the 4 categories of tools are minimized and when i click them nothing happens except the shade of gray turns different, where it should make the list of tools appear.
they work perfectly fine in single player, and other people in the server can use tools.
pressing C also does nothing, no menu pulls up.
hopefully im just dumb and its a menu setting or something but i can't figure it out
i have a mac, if that changes anything.
