What's the simplest thing you didn't know how to do in GMod? - Garry's Mod

What's the most stupidest thing you didn't now how to do in Gmod when you just got it? Mine, well I didn't now what the use key was and I wanted to get in a jeep so I sat there pushing every button untill I got in. Same with buttons. :/ Your turn!

Tried to install mods by placing each indivdual file into its corresponding folder.

Made a ramming car with my friend when we first got it but we didn't know about pressing e on the wheels. So we faced each other then started spinning around in circles. Many lols were had.

I did that too first :D

The irony in this thread title is just... Massive.

I also had no clue how to properly weld.

Back in GMod 9.0.1.. I thought the physics gun was a weapon that shot a blue beam at someone and melted them. I thought it didn't work because there was a bug that was going to be fixed soon. I [i]actually[/i] remember going to someone's server where they were using it on a prop and saying "Don't do that you'll melt it!!"

I mistook the C Menu for the Q Menu. When I pressed C, hoping for the Q menu, and instead got a weird empty box, I was about to scream cause I thought my copy was broke.

I thought multiple welds on one prop made it stronger... And I didn't know how to shift-e props.

Using a laptop so I didn't know to set my keys. Built the most fantastic contraption (APC with 800 wheels nailed to it) and waited with extreme patience waiting for it to kill breen... Breen never died and it took me a month to get it to work.

I didn't know how how to rotate props, so i pressed them up against a wall trying to turn them :D

I didn't know how to use buttons.

HOW DO I SHOT GUN? No. The most stupidest thing I did was How do I fly? For a YEAR I was typing "noclip" in the console. Then I hit the V key accidentally one day.

Trying to fix gmod after an update broke it. I probably reinstalled gmod 30 times in the first month.

I couldn't rotate props

Q menu, Console, How to make props come closer or further from you with the physgun. I ended up doing some kind of complicated tiny backwards throw to move props closer to me.

Oh here another one: I didn't know rollermines blew with an RPG and/or water. So I spent about 1 hour trying to kill it with an SMG but it didn't die. So I thought it could never be killed so I went a server and spwaned 2 and I guess he was admin he put the rollermines in water and when they exploded I went fucking apeshit. Ahh good memories.

Snap Rotating with "E". Found a guy that has been playing for years that still didn't know that yeaterday.

The [B]most[/B] stupid? Hmmmm... I didn't know about Snap Rotate with "E" and I didn't know about Easy Weld. I took hours making a fort with Weld only too realise that I had a breakable value. It collapsed when I unfroze it.
