Installing MODS - Player Models, Vmod, GMOW etc... - Garry's Mod

Hello, I'm hoping to find genuine responses here, so if you can please help that would be greatly appreciated. The only MOD i have got working is a single hoverboard. But Vmod, GMOW, Halo Models and this other hoverboard pack i got doesn't work. The models are there, as in I can put a model of the car in, but nothing shows up under vehicles where I can drive them. I cannot select my halo character model either. Most people say to just drop it in the addons folder, but it doesn't work. I even tried putting them in their respective folders (models, materials, scripts etc.) but still doesn't work. Is there one step that I'm missing? I have Gmod10 and I just downloaded it so i'm assuming its got all the latest updates. Any help would be appreciated. Gmodfan2008

I got Vmod to work, but I have no idea how i did it... I think I put it in the garrysmod/garrysmod folder.

heres wat i do i put each indidual one into garrysmod ex:C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\username\garrysmod\garrysmod\ hope that helps!

Put them in diffrent folders this is what i do when i have a mod that does not tell you were to put it like: garrysmod or garrysmod/garrysmod or even garrysmod/garrysmod/addons that is what i do put the file in all of those files hope this helped

hmmmm, i get that problem too. i have gotten 3 vehicle packs all with vmod and gmow in and none of them worked.

same problem here, i tried all vehicle packs + gmow + vmod, first i placed all of them in the addons folder, then i removed them from the addons folder and placed them in the garrysmod folder (didn't work either) and then i tried in both folders but still nothing... i really want gmow and vmod, if someone could make a fix for it...................................................

Do they have a txt called info on them? If not, drop them on their folders (materials in materials, models in models)
