So I'm trying to host a server for my friend, and he can connect and everything just fine, but there's a huge list (1000+) of files that he has to download incredibly slow, including for some reason, prop models for things such as a borderlands bus (I've never had that game or anything from it). Is there a way to limit what files are shared when someone joins, without actually owning a server? We're on 70 MB/S and at the rate it's downloading we'd be here for forever, so what gives with these random files? I want to host a pretty much vanilla server save for some essential mods.
