I want to make gmod videos, but I don't know which programs i should use. I have iMovie, but i still need a sound editing program and a screen recorder. Worst case scenario, i have to do stop motion videos, which i dont think costs anything, but is harder and longer to make. Any suggestions? and try to keep it at a minimum cost. Thanks
Buy a pc, probably still cheaper than Mac Software..
On a serious note though, look up a tutorial on how to use source recorder.
umm. video editing for mac i have got Adobe premier pro cs4
Sound editing i have got Logic pro 9 (that is studio standed software people use)
but all this would cost you between 500-1000$
Get Windows 7, Get Audacity, Get Sony Vegas/Virtual Dub, Get Fraps
Shouldn't be to costly with the programs.

you can install Windows (XP recommended) on a MAC since apple use Intel CPU now. You can look for some tutorial
stop motion is bad what i recommend to use is Hat - its a easy alternate to cam due to the smoothness of how it frames each pose ([URL]http://www.garrysmod.org/downloads/?a=view&id=115272[/URL])
i also recomend you to use ragmorph as this will allow you to move with a object with out the knowladge of lua etc ([URL]http://www.garrysmod.org/downloads/?a=view&id=107244[/URL])
that's about it for a best movie standard
I've seen a ton of videos on Youtube that were recorded from a Mac.
Try Googling "Video recording software Mac OS X" or something, you're bound to find something.

You can use QuickTime PRO, because it is delivered with MAC. I recommend you using Source Recorder though.

Mac sucks for making movies in games, you ever saw someone on a mac making a actual non-flash non-java game. C# or something. I did not.
Seriously most of you are fucking idiots. Macs are better for video editing. Final Cut Pro>Vegas any day. I have both a PC and a Mac and edit on both. Don't record on the Mac though.
