• A really big dump

This is a really big contraption dump of things I've built recently. I haven't been building much, since WoT is far less glitchy and I've spent all my other time working or at college (finally went back after several years). Gonna try to describe things in a more interesting way than "here, look what I crapped out". CDF5 Half Track Built as a light engineering vehicle with good off-road performance, akin to something like the Sdkfz 4 or Sdkfz 7, this vehicle proved to be rather adaptable. While envisioned as a stopgap at best, its quick construction proved to be no shortcoming in capability, and with a high top speed, decent terrain crossing capabilities, and a rugged, roll-resistant single-piece frame, it has become a successful ammo carrier, troop transport, truck, and antiaircraft gun; more variants are planned. However, its abilities as a combat vehicle, apart from support roles, are severely limited due to its total lack of armor or roof. Ammo carrier for toad artillery. Right to left: troop carrier (carries 14 troops), pickup truck, AAA, standard. CDF-20 Light Tank Initial experiments with a replacement to the older CDF-60 led to this 20-ton prototype. Intended to be amphibious, well-armored; it ended up sinking like a brick with paperthin armor. Armed with a 75mm howitzer firing APHE-T, and a coaxial 80mm mortar firing HEAT-T, it packed a punch; but while initial combat proved promising, its 120mm of frontal armor proved woefully inadequate even with its angular and overlapping construction, and, despite its simple construction and low lag, it was quickly phased out. In battle: CDF-20-H Self Propelled Artillery While the CDF-20 was an ineffective vehicle as a light tank, the chassis itself proved to be very adaptable. Though the ride was rough and its speed deficient, the chassis was capable of holding a lot of weight and crossing rough ground fairly well. Hence the CDF-20-H was born--the first self-propelled gun in service. The speed was decreased by 25%, with a corresponding increase in torque, and a sharper steering radius was introduced. The vehicle fires 105mm APHE-T dual-purpose shells, making it a lightly-armored stand-in for a tank destroyer (useful because idiots like to take potshots at people). Its effective range over open ground is around 20,000 units; over obstacles, 10-15k. CDF-120 Mk. II Based off of the original CDF-120, the new vehicle is down to 45 tonnes, and still armed with the same lethal 120mm gun. A new powerpack and transmission increased the speed of this lumbering machine, but fatally, its armor cannot withstand high-caliber antitank fire. VAB-150 A light army bike. Though slow, this vehicle is still useful and enjoyable. Its 400kg physical mass makes it easy to transport. Only 3 unparented props. Fuckin' motorhead. And now, some shit. Unfinished airship. I was expecting a shit thread, literally. I am pleasantly surprised. Good job mate, love the tanks.
Wonderful.
thanks guys! Was wonderin' what people'd think of my shit.
I'm going to say the same thing that I said on the wiremod.com thread you made. The thread title was a little misleading. Also, it seems you just copy pasted the contents of your post onto wiremod.com too.
I liked the bike.
Tank fart?
Oh hey, it's my tank.
Also, it seems you just copy pasted the contents of your post onto wiremod.com too.

as posted on fp
Am planning more bikes, and I didn't remember whose tank that was bombardier. Probably should update post with "bombardier's tank fart"
any other ideas/suggestions?
Heyyy, you said you wouldn't post the rainbow tank scene [editline]28th August 2011[/editline] glad you did though
