A server that I am a part of is considering having a weekly gamemode server (movie tuesdays, monday madness, etc.), but we were looking for somekind of gamemode scheduler. All that we would really need is something that, at certain times, would change the gamemode/map of the server. A plus would be for it to be able to do other things on a schedule (change the server title, run concmds), give warnings when the gamemode will change, and make it so that it still allows us to change the map/gamemode ourselves during the schedule if need be.
Has anyone heard of such a tool? It is a dedicated server, if that means anything.
I've never heard of anything like that. I bet you could easily create something that just checks a timer every now and then to see if updates need to occur, if they do, change the values. It wouldn't be too hard to create as an addon if you know basic Lua.
