Returning to GMod - Space, Resources, Generic prop packs, etc?

Hey guys,

Trying to get back into this bad-boy, but having trouble remembering the addons and I have no idea where to get them these days - the workshop has barely any in comparison.

- What's the addon for resources? Generators, water pumps etc. Worked really well with the space maps.
- Do the space maps need any other mods to make them work?
- ACF is a replacement for GCombat, right?
- There was a pack of generic props - 1x1s, 1x2s, etc, all in different sizes + cubes of different sizes, wheels and train tracks, etc. I can't remember the name though.
- Is Smart Precision a true successor to Smart Snap? I see both on the workshop.

Also, where the hell do we even get the addons? There was a site with so many of them + different maps and so on. Where has that gone?

Spacebuild 2-3 and its resources addon, not too many servers that host spacebuild are up anymore

Pretty sure the space maps should work fine, but they would work better with spacebuild

ACF is better than GCombat in my opinion, but its a bit harder to work with

PHX is included with garrysmod by default, but if you want another prop pack a lot of servers use SProps

Never heard of smart precision, but Precision/Precision Alignment work very well with Smart Snap

Garrysmod.org has been down for a month or so, Workshop is your best bet. if not you may still be able to find githubs of popular addons or gamemodes from the old days. if not your out of luck
