In recent news, only a day after Kurozael bans the Ignog Dynasty from all CAX server, C16 gets hacked and memified.

Now this is useful information.
That is what you get for using SMF.
yolo
oh well
beautiful
edit: holy shit he changed kuro's avatar to goatse :v:
They should have just replaced it with a redirect to nutscript.
The Dynasty spreads far and wide like Kuro's gaping asshole
Edit: You forgot to mention that Kuro hasn't hash passwords on C16, meaning all of your passwords are stored in plain text.
Fucker gets what he deserved for getting buying titles for others removed.
Cloud Sixteen takes 2 automatic backups every day - all they did was steal an admin's password. Everything is back to normal now. Also the passwords are not stored in plain text... that's ridiculous, SMF hashes them by default. C16 are also moving to XenForo this weekend, so.

If the passwords were hashed, then how come this admin's account was so easily compromised..?
Perhaps his password sucked.

Because the administrator himself admitted the password was very basic.

My supervisor account got breached and they decided to have some fun.
If you are a regular user then you don't need to worry, no passwords are or were stored in plain text, no account information was leaked, no viruses or anything on that matter could be injected through my account and security breach like this one is not going to happen again.
Life lesson for life: not to use simple password on account with administrator permissions. Oh well.

here's over $100,000 dollars of clockwork keys, and a bunch of private gamemodes:

agent009 or uh.. agent9000 wasn't very complicated but how could we just get them so quickly if they were hashed?
[editline]10th January 2015[/editline]
anyways, the ballas always got the ignog's covered :)
Just days after they CAX ban ignog, Cloudsixteen is taken down. Jesus christ.
In that txt, there is every single C16 key ever, every single custom schema, and the keys to go along with it. http://sants.me/c16leaked.txt
R.I.P CloudSixteen
BTW: The passwords on C16 were not hashed, meaning kurozael had access to all of our emails, accounts, passwords, etc. Pretty scary.
i am not affiliated with that website in any way shape or form so keep this in mind when you're trying to lynch me
-snip-
That's pretty cruel to leak all those keys, but seeing how he didn't hash passwords on the forum account I cannot blame the action that was taken by people.
clockwork provides quality rp environment
why would anyone do this
What is this nonsense and remind me why we care?

internet sarcasm at its finest right there

I thought SMF salted the passwords by default?
Not going to point fingers but if it was intentionally changed to be in plain text then that's a huge issue.

I believe it was.

SMF does salt them by default, but he changed it to plain text. After being discovered, he /probably/ set it to salting, and now is making everyone change their password.
