I'd like to have a free Gmod server.
I'm a dedicated sandbox builder and the community all around the current ACF/Build to Kill servers could use a server for fun events. So thats mainly what I will do on the server. Massive PvP wars, all kinds of races, a build game where people can only use certain props or need to build something within a time limit etc etc.
I mean currently people give up their server for a short time period to host a fun event but that does not happen very often so I'd really like to do a server for events only. I will mainly promote the server on the Facepunch Dupes and Builds and w/e V4 thread where almost all the sandbox builders show off their stuff or go look for nice pictures of contraptions. I bet the people out there will like the idea.
But there is one problem. I need someone that is known with LUA because I only know the very basics of it. I don't know what you think but if you are up with this idea I can go look for someone that has experience and start a server with him/them.
Specs? I may be interested in this.

Not sure if vouching helps but ill vouch for LUModder, he had a good server before
I'll like to try this out. My community is just getting back on its feet and we are introducing a load of new RP gamemode plans to increase our variety of users. This could also help you to see how much the server can handle under a certain amount of stress and help you sort the problem accordingly.
I hosted with these guys a year ago or so (GForceservers.com?)
They were great for support and help, recommend you give them a shit :)

I would like to host a Spacebuild server you can take a look at my website and steam group although the website is going though a bit of a remodel so it doesn't look that nice atm.... we are running some custom addons to make Spacebuild a little more fun and been finding a few new joins everyday. I'm have my server on my friends box and he is wanting me to move it.

I would vouch for this guy, his Minecraft servers are top notch, have had one for several months atm, And so far, its been able to handle most of whats been thrown at it, And i of course have kept it populated, i don't know if i could ask for this one as well, get a teamfortress 2 server as well, Get some people from a irc network on it and have fun. In refrence, irc.anthrochat.net for where ill be getting the community from.

On a serious note, Zach is great.
I would love a server, Right now on my Half-Life 2 Role-Play server I get 4 players a day but many leave because of lag. I would love a lag free server!
