GMOD Prime - An Alternative Server Browser (alpha!) - Garry's Mod

[url]http://gmodpri.me/[/url] GMOD Prime is an alternative server browser. instead of listing every server, server owners get to add their server with a name, description, and banner, and users get to vote and favorite them. most of the info and stuff is covered on the website, so give it a try and let me know what you guys think! also, please take it easy, cause it's still in alpha!

Added two of my servers, looks pretty good so far. [editline]7th December 2014[/editline] also two things: On the front page, the first character of the server name is always capitalized, and your privacy policy is "???"

I hope this really catches on - would be a great way to attract people with brains to servers. [editline]7th December 2014[/editline] Found a bug: Newlines in the text editor for the server description aren't newlines in the description when it's submitted. [editline]7th December 2014[/editline] another bug: if the server owner doesn't have http:// ahead of their website url, it just appends it on the end of gmodpri.me on click.

A friend of mine told me that it took him 1 account to make Aeternal's server number 1 I looked myself and I must say it looks nice :)

How about a Gamemodes section?

If anyone else uses Kaspersky and has this same issue just add gmodpri.me to your trusted URL's Edit: Or you can wait until he finds out what may be blocking the IP's.

Awesome! I added one of my servers with a 10 minute banner made from my Steam avatar. I'll get to the others later. I already did something like this to mellow out the server spam on reddit with /r/GMServers, but this is a way better method. [editline]7th December 2014[/editline] Needs a logout button :p

Added my server, terrible logo made in 20 mins, ill get around to making a better one later

I kept it like fp by hiding the logout button, but you can just go to /logout to log out I'm working on changing the filenames to use ids instead of ips, and I may or may not have to reset the database. I'm working as hard as I can to get around it, though!

You should make it so you need to join a server to vote on it.

is there any chance of you allowing gmod lua to interface with this site? then I could actually change the main menus server browser to a html panel that runs gmod prime or at least make a browser you can open while ingame. That way it could all link together and when you click a server in gmod it will let you connect to it (or at least copy the ip to console since garry is a spastic and blocked us from running 'connect' from the lua state because its apparently malicious

both of my server got 3 downvotes, wonder who I pissed off.
