Best ways to decrease fps lag in gmod?

Launch options, fpsboost commands for a cfg file, anything. i dont mind how bad the game looks i just wanna see the highest fps i can get on my shitty pc

I would try installing the awesomium replacement addon found in the gamemodes/addons section. it allows you to enable multicore rendering and i get 80-100fps with it enabled

Its not on the workshop .. you need a DLL and it modifies the game.
