So whenever I spawn a prop in SP and get its angles using Precision Alignment, it shows an angular offset of 0.005 units on randomly X, Y or Z and I would have to correct the angle every single time.
Is this offset something problematic when building steerable vehicles or aircraft?
This doesn't occur on servers by the way, there it shows exact angles and I also tried waiting a second or two before freezing the prop in mid air.
not that i know of, it's just the way the server info to your client
serverside the angles should be fine
I have noticed no handling issues caused by this inaccuracy in any of my cars. An offset that small is well within the constraint flop we get anyway, nothing to worry about.
Good to know. I first noticed that while making bodies for vehicles where I used real tiny offsets to make props look like they were painted on another prop flat

I think I've had the exact problem like you have. What I tried is freeze the props in the air and then allign them to a 45 degrees rotation with the physgun or easy precision.
