How do I not lag on a darkrp with 400,000,000 addons that im missing? - Garry's Mod

is there a way to do this because I don't like to wait 40 mintues for the content to download...but i also dont like 10fps so can I NOT download the addons and NOT lag?????? is it POSSIBLE?????

find a less bloated server to play on? i hear that's always a nice bet if you've reached a dilemma such as yours

Why not just download it and be patient? Most servers have a collection that you can add on steam, so you can just download it there and do something productive rather than staring at a loading screen or play a decent server.
