This addon gives you a pong and space invaders clone to play whenever you want, on any server you want.
INSTALL:
Place "clientside_arcade" in your "garrysmod/addons" folder.
PONG:
To start, type "pong_init".
Use your forward and back movement keys to move your paddle up and down. When you tire of your pitiful attempts to defeat the revolutionary Ultra-Master Neural Networked Pong AI version 4.2 you can type "pong_quit".
SPACE INVADERS:
To start, type "invaders_init".
Space fires your missile, and left and right movements keys move your spaceship. To quit type "invaders_quit".

+Increased pong and space invaders game speed
+Fixed space invaders:
Added .5 (changable) sec delay between shots instead of just 1 shot
Added difficulty increase as more waves of invaders are killed
Added high score saving

They are slow! Speed them up a bit.
Alright, next version I'll add some concommands to alter game speeds, fix space invaders a little bit and try to add a Galaga clone or a Gauntlet type.
Also another thing, turn up the speed, I tried both games and they're REALLY slow. And for the invaders one, get rid of the one bullet at a time thing, makes it take even longer

Also I checked out the code, you make it look so easy.
Great job... yah a bit extra spped and it's okay... but fun... why not make it like a untility option... so you have some button...
and when you pressw Reload 2 times fast it quits the game...
I may just have to examine this to add Asteroids unless you feel like adding it.

You should attempt to make these run on a cam.Start2D screen so you can literally play on an arcade machine.

It definitely needs galaga. I own at that. Needs a credit system as well, and when you run out of credits, it kills you. Maybe the credits could feed off your life, 1 credit is 20 health or 10 health or what ever, makes people get good.
Gauntlet. For sure.
I also agree with the credit system, maybe 5 hp per credit.
Maybe also pinball. :D

We now can stack multiple levels of games inside of other games. Great job and I hope you make more soon.
To the best of my knowledge, you can't play with your health clientside, so I doubt the credit system would be possible right now.

Ok, I sped up pong and space invaders. I also added more features to space invaders that make it a lot better. Next update will have Galaga and some kind of Breakout clone, and I'll improve the code layout.

Needs a patch to be used on the i88. Doesn't have to be on the computer's screen only, fullscreen is all right.
