I have no idea if npc packs are despised here or not, but I think I'll make a thread for this for the hell of it.
It's really, really simple. One day I was messing around with model manipulator and discovered that all of the human characters shared a lot of the citizen animations. So I thought that I'd make them into actual NPCs, for those without model manipulator, plus it would be easier to spawn them as well. They use citizen AI so they'll follow you, shoot things if they have weapons and some of them can say things too. Also comes with ep2 alyx (after she got stabbed by a hunter), uriah, a vortigaunt slave, and the combine shot gun soldiers.
It's super-simple scripting, and I'll admit to that, but I do hope to give them more stuff, so then at least their is more effort put into it.

Also comes with spawn icons.
What I plan to do:
- Head crab-less zombies
- Barney with a cp mask
- Gman without his briefcase
- Alyx, Barney and Father Grigori with citizen ai
- Npc's use their original voices (Kleiner uses sounds from his voice, Mossman uses sounds from her voice, etc.)

I always found it amusing that the AR2 holdtype overrides everything for the Combine Soldiers, even though VALVe gave them SMGs at some points ingame.

They aren't. They use the exact same models that they use as normal npcs.
