[release][b]Killer Melons[/b] This is a SENT that I made a few days ago, they chase you using a line of sight system, similar to that found in the Epimetheus Drone Launcher, where they will move to the position where they could last see you. When they get near enough they lunge at you and when killed their gibs grow into more Killer Melons. [/release] :siren:To get the particle effect to work you need to move it from [i]garrysmod/addons/KillerMelon/particles[/i] to [i]garrysmod/particles[/i]:siren: For clarity, this SENT was inspired by Mahalis' Demon Melons, but that doesn't mean that it is an exact replica. The movement is completely different, my melons actually kill you and can track you round corners etc. To be honest, the only similarity is that they both are melons and they both duplicate themselves.

I don't like it all that much, they move to fast, they kill you in one swipe and the effects don't work.

If you nuke them, the gibs are destroyed as well. So no new melons

A diffrent trail and ENT:Touch() has a if ent:IsPlayer() then ent:Kill() added to it?

Could you release one with the dev feature? I'd like to know how successfull it's - stalking me at. I think wizey was asking if this is just like mahalis's but with a green effect, and he seems to think that yours instantly kills upon touching the player, which it doesn't, in single player I tried that and it seems to kill by physics force.

Done, these melons don't kill you, they just follow you around and make cute noises :v:. As people have said, it is actually a little too smart.
Would you mind making a version that when you kill them, they don't multiply? But if they kill, they do? 1 melon- kill- 2 melon- kill- 3 melon- kill melon- 2 melon- kill- 3 melon- etc. Would make a perfect "zombie" plague of melons. Always wanted one that had a los system. They smell fear. That and blood. You're fucked. :v: Release them in an RP server. The cops'll have fun trying to quarantine the problem. Edit: is it possible to make npcs afraid of the melon? Watching Kleiner run from the melons would be awesome.
I will make the zombie melons that multiply when they get a kill and make all NPCs afraid of them, but I'm not going to update the other versions of the melons to make NPCs afraid of them.

make them attack npcs and vice versa.
As soon as they can attack npcs this addon will become epic. It's still good now, lot's of fun. Turn on noclip and go up high, they band together as some sort of tornado!
