This is Battlefield On Gmod, Currently being slowly developed by EsKayEm(LetsTutorial) and Pie's. [code] Main Features: -Not a DarkRP Edit -FA:S Weapons with all the attachments -Customization -Dogtags -Weapon Skins (WIP) -Player Motto -Emblem -Custom Maps (just for us) -Operation Metro (see screenshots) -Grand Bazzar (WIP) -Roof Tops -Loadout System -Classes -Attachments -Dynamic Website to edit profile (Dogtag, player motto, weapon loadout) There is also a side project called BF-G:LIVE, i made it to learn C#... Dam, you beat me to posting the thread :3 Looks good, did you code it your self or are you using that TDM base that was released a few days ago? Just the flags and some other features look similar. I wish you good luck, very nice to see something thats not a shitty darkrp edit ;) Good work man

The gamemode is coded from scratch, we started about a month ago. The flags are just a place holder and will be replaced with an actual model soon.
Ah, it just uses the same CTF System then :D Now i need to get back to work on mine. It's been a really good learning point for me doing a gamemode like this. [IMG]http://puu.sh/8H9er.jpg[/IMG] Have not touched the gamemode since this stage :( Back to work!

Nice job! I started on a BF4 themed gamemode, but never finished it. I can't wait to try it out :)

This looks pretty nice, and it's refreshing to know it's not a DarkRp edit. By the way are you going to put things in to make seem more I guess you could say 'realistic' on the client side like viewbob, different footstep sounds and things alike in this? Would be interesting to have in a game created after BF4.

I am at the moment working on something like when a bullet hits near you something it will blur your screem a little bit. I think its called "Suppression". We will add this for sure! I just wanted to know what I can make better! :) And also we are just working 1 month on that gamemode so dont except too much ;D!

func_breakables will only go so far. I suggest using some func_physbox, but they're really expensive. DMM isn't really applicable on a large scale. It could be cool for central areas in limited application. The only way to get anything bigger is animated physics, which hiyougami is experimenting on.

But they are usually only one room or maybe two large. Isn't there another way to create a destructible room without it deconstructing into multiple debris?
Hi, this is only a test. The destruction is only for effect on the map. We are not trying to recreate buildings falling over in BF4 or walls turning into props on the ground. The source engine has limitations and like i said, i want to make this gamemode playable for everyone, we might look into animated destruction in the future. At this point we are just trying to make the gamemode look good and stand out from a DarkRP edit by putting effort in! What you see in the video and screenshots are images of the gamemode still in a transition from Alpha to Beta. Using other people stuff would mean we can't. The other reason is for the pride of saying, we made that, all of it.
